In 2015 and 2018 he led the soccer team to 2 conference championships and the state playoffs 4 out of 5 years.
Coach is married to Heather Parsons and has 2 Children: Samantha (13) and Alexis (9).
We are also lucky to have Coach Keith Davis serving in his 4th year with the Brookland Bearcats.
Coach Davis is from Harrisburg, AR, and graduated from Harrisburg High School. He graduated from Arkansas State University.
Coach Davis coached from 1993-2016 at Harrisburg High School, serving as Head Football Coach for 16 of those years.
Keith has been married to his wife Sarah for 25 years and they have 2 children: Zach Davis and Hannah Lawrey. They have 3 grandchildren: Hudson Davis and Eva and Jacob Lawrey.

Brookland is thankful to have Coach Sean Hammond serving as an Offensive and Defensive Line Coach. This is Coach Hammond’s fifth year with Brookland.
Coach Hammond graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1985 where he played football and ran track. He was the Runner up at the 1985 State Track Meet for Shot Put and was also the Runner up in the Meet of Champs that same year.
Played one year of college football at the University of Arkansas Monticello and transferred to Arkansas State to play football the next year. Graduated from ASU in 1990.
He began coaching at Marked Tree High school in 1990 and was the Jr. High Head Coach, Sr. O-Line, and D-Line coach there through 2000. From there he went on to Harrisburg where he was Jr. High Head Coach, O-Line Coach, and D-Line Coach for 5 years. In 2005 he joined Wynne High School as the Head Jr. High coach and was there until 2010. In 2010 he went back to Harrisburg as the Jr. High Head Coach, O-Line Coach, D-Line Coach, and Defensive Coordinator until 2015. He joined Brookland in 2016 as the High School O-Line and D-Line Coach. He also helps with the Jr. High Team.
Coach Hammond has also coached a variety of other sports during his career including Bowling, Golf, Tennis, Baseball, and Basketball where his Marked Tree team made the Elite at the state tournament.

Coach Brian Haynes has been teaching and coaching for the past 18 years and we are fortunate to have had him here at Brookland Schools for the past 6 years.
Coach Haynes played Football, Basketball, and Track in High School and played one year for Arkansas State Indians (now Red Wolves) 94-95.
Coach Haynes has coached the following sports:

- As Assistant Coach in Trumann he helped lead the team to 2 Conference Championships
- Baketball for 6 years
- Softball for 16 years
- As Assistant Coach at Nettleton he was a part of the 2002 State Championship team
- As a Head Coach he has 3 Conference Championships and 2 District Championships
- At Trumann, his team reached 2 Regional Championship and was the 2010 4a State Runner UP
- Here in Brookland, He served Assistant Coach for 1 Conference Championship and 3 Regional Championships and 2 state semi-finals appearance.
Coach Hayne is married to Jana Haynes. They have 2 children: Kamdon Slade Haynes (7) and Kirklyn Claire Haynes (5).

Assistant SR. High coach
Coach Reynolds graduated from Jessieville High School in 2011 and attended Arkansas State University until 2015. He has spent his first two years at Marion under head coach Jed Davis where he started off as a 7th grade coach but moved up to Jr. High Offensive Coordinator. Under his offensive play calling, the Marion Jr. High team averaged 36 points per game and had a record of 9-1.
He then accepted a job at Brookland School District as a Jr. High Assistant and 7th Grade Head Coach in 2018. He helped coach the 2018 Jr. High football team to a 8-1 record and its first conference championship. This year he has been moved up to Sr. High as an assistant. He is looking forward to the opportunity of starting this new conference in the 5a this fall.

7th Grade Coach
This is Coach Johnson’s 1st year at Brookland as a full-time football coach after spending the previous three seasons performing various roles at the 7th grade, Junior High, and Senior High levels in a volunteer capacity.
Coach Johnson now serves as an Assistant 7th Grade and Junior High Coach, coaching the Defense for the 7th Grade team and the Wide Receivers/Secondary for the Junior High team. In addition to football, Coach Johnson also serves as an Assistant Girls Basketball Coach at Brookland.
Coach Johnson graduated from Corning High School in 2016 where he played Football and ran Track. He then attended Arkansas State University and graduated from there in 2019 with a B.S.E. in Secondary Social Studies Education.
Coach Johnson and his wife Kaitlin are going on their first year of marriage.
What coaching title?
Coach Proffitt is a native of Fayetteville, AR, and is a 2003 graduate of Fayetteville High School. He attended The University of Arkansas and graduated with a BSE in Kinesiology as well as Arkansas State University where he received an MSE in Educational Leadership.
Coach Proffitt has been married to his wife Holly for 7 years and they have a 1-year-old son named Jay.
